Music Pandit Wins Prestigious Grant at NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore
We are delighted to announce that Music Pandit has been awarded a prestigious grant from NSRCEL, the startup incubator at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). Music Pandit was enrolled in a startup incubation program under the Women’s StartUp Program, a CSR venture by the Kotak Mahindra Bank. This milestone marks a moment of recognition for our commitment to transforming music education and creating meaningful impact at scale.
The NSRCEL grant is awarded to high-potential ventures that demonstrate innovation, social relevance, and the ability to scale. The selection process was rigorous, involving multiple rounds of evaluations including application screening, pitch presentations, and detailed business model assessments. Only a select few ventures made it through to the final stage — and Music Pandit is proud to be one of them.
As part of the program, Music Pandit participated in a multi-month incubation process that included intense mentoring sessions, business strategy workshops, one-on-one interactions with domain experts, and access to a thriving community of fellow entrepreneurs. Through this journey, we had the opportunity to refine our model, validate our metrics, and align our mission with long-term, sustainable growth.
“The program was both challenging and incredibly enriching,” said Serah John, Founder and CEO of Music Pandit. “We were encouraged to dig deeper into our impact metrics, strengthen our unit economics, and plan for scale with clarity and purpose. This grant is more than just financial support — it’s an endorsement of our vision to democratize music education for children everywhere.”
NSRCEL’s support will empower us to accelerate product development, invest in technology, and expand our reach into underserved markets. With students already learning from India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, Music Pandit is poised for its next phase of growth.
This achievement is a testament to our team’s passion, resilience, and unwavering focus on delivering joyful, effective music learning experiences for children aged 6 to 14.
Stay tuned as we continue to scale new heights and bring the magic of music to more homes around the world. Follow us on @musicpanditschool for more updates.
